Skills required/taught: crimping, using callots opening and closing jump rings

Tools required: chain nose pliers.

Materials needed:
Three strands of tigertail, all the same length, cut to the length you would like your bracelet

A selection of beads of your choosing

2 x callots

1 x lobster clasp

2 x jump rings

Approximately 20 x 2mm crimps

Step 1:

Crimp all three strands of tigertail together at one end, thread on the callot and close over the crimp.

Step 2:

Add one bead onto each strand followed by a crimp on all three strands. Crimp the crimp and repeat, add one bead onto each strand followed by a crimp. Do this along the length of the tigertail, until you reach your desired length.

Something to consider: decide where you want to crimp between beads. Too much gap and the effect won’t be as good as having smaller gaps. If you want to make the gaps uniformed, use a ruler.

Step 3:

Once you reach your desired length/run out of tigertail thread on the second callot followed by a crimp on all three strands. Squash the crimp bead and fold the callot over the crimp. Add one jump ring on one end of the bracelet nd a jump ring with lobster clasp onto the other end. Enjoy wearing your bracelet.
