Skills required/taught: looping metal, opening and closing jump rings and loops.
Tools required: round nose and chain nose pliers and wire cutters.
Materials needed:
Chain 7 x 10 links in length (silver or gold)
1x lobster clasp (silver or gold)
2x jump rings (silver or gold)
8 x one colour 6mm bicone (we will refer to these beads as bead ‘A’) and 7 x a different colour 6mm bicone (we will refer to these beads as bead ‘B’)
15 x eyepins (silver or gold)
Step 1:
Thread one bead onto each eyepin and make a loop in the end. Trim 7 lots of chain in to lengths of 10 links in each length.
Step 2:
Start with one bead ‘A’ and join onto one bead ‘B’. Attach the end of one piece of chain to the eyepin of bead ‘B’. Open the other loop on bead ‘B’ and attach the other end of the chain and one bead ‘A’. Repeat all the way along, adding the chain to the loops of bead ‘B’ until you finish with a bead ‘A’.
Step 3:
Add the lobster clasp to one end using a jump ring and a jump ring to the other end. Your bracelet is now complete!
